Atletico Ottawa Players

At GoAthletics Inc. we are very excited to announce that we will be working not only with one, but with two Atletico Ottawa players in the upcoming C.P.L. Season ! These players are Ignacio Zabal Almazan and Victor Martinez. We could not be happier to be working with two of the Canadian Premier League's top signings and helping them out with boots.

Who is Ignacio  (Natxo / Nacho)  Zabal Almazan ?

Ignacio (Natxo) Zabal Almazan is one of the C.P.L.'s most experienced players. Natxo joins the Canadian Premier League as a veteran in his position (GoalKeeper). Natxo was born in Alfaro (La Rioja), Spain on February 14, 1987. Natxo came up through one of the prestigious youth systems in Spain, of Club Deportivo Osasuna. Natxo had an extensive career, playing for clubs such as Osasuna, Huesca, Numancia, Alcoyano, Toledo C.f. among others in the Spanish LaLiga, LaLiga Smartbank and Segunda B. We are very excited to partner with Natxo because he is a very humble and kind man and an incredible goalkeeper that is sure to be one of the, if not the best in his position in the Canadian Premier League.

Who is Victor (Viti) Martinez ?

Victor (Viti) Martinez Manrique is one of the star signings for in this year's Canadian Premier League. Viti is known as a versatile midfielder who is very technical, tactically aware and physically,  a bull. Viti was born on June 3, 1997, in Barcelona (Cataluna), Spain. Viti came up though the youth system of C.D. Sabadell and made his professional debut aged 21 with Gimnastic (Nastic) de Tarragona in 2018. Viti arrived in Canada this past March (2020) and he is sure to bring modern European quality to the Canadian Premier League.

Natxo Zabal Almazan, will be wearing JOMA Propulsion Lite Pro cleats (Thread / Knit), while Viti Martinez will be wearing both Joma Propulsion Lite Cleats and Joma Aguila Pro (Kangaroo Leather) cleats.
