Welcoming Jan Michael Williams to The GoKeeper Family

Today, we would like to welcome Jan Michael Williams to the GoKeeper family. Jan Michael is a 34 year old Trinidadian soccer goalkeeper who is currently playing for the Halifax Wanderers in the Canadian Premier League (CPL). Jan Michael has spent a large part of his career playing in the TT Pro League, but he has also had stints in Belgium, Guatemala, Honduras and Hungary before signing with the Halifax based club.

Jan Michael brings a lot of experience to the Halifax Wanderers. Some of Jan Michael's accomplishments have included being nominated as a Concacaf goalkeeper of the year (finishing third twice) behind Tim Howard and Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa. He has also won the TT Pro League player and goalkeeper of the year. Jan Michael has also played 81 games and captains the Trinidad and Tobago international team. His most notable game with Trinidad and Tobago came against the United States of America where he pulled off some amazing saves to limit the USA's scoring chances. All of the experience that Jan Michael brings to the Halifax Wanderers is what has made him the captain of the club in only his first season, a great accomplishment.
